The very title of this thread makes no sense to me.
Hinduism was not mentioned simply because the Prophet probably did not meet or hear of any Hindus. Geopolitically for that time and age the land of the Hindus was very far away from where he was. He was in contact in Jews, Christians etc and knew of them and thier religion and thier prophets. He did not hear of the Japanese either.. so he did not mention shintoism either! Did he mention the Native American peoples and thier Shamanism? I could go on an on.
In any case why should other religions have the approval of Islam? They are what they are and they exist and people who follow them do so of thier own choice. Let them be!
