urdu, hindi and punjabi have their
roots in sanskrit. it doesnt count
if a pakistani avoids to use pure
sanskirt words. you can rename a language, but analyzing grammatical structures and word regions tell you the truth.

if you look at punjabi spoken
in india and hindi they have many common
sanskrit words.

counting only some attributes/differen. you cant claim urdu is same as hindi, or very different but it has its roots in sanskrit.

there are some grammatical rules from persian or arabic but it follows in the whole its roots from sanskrit as hindi does.

hindi/urdu is a good example for two nations
to make a difference in their identity as
hindi speakers try to adopt pure sanskrit words and urdu speaker mostly adopt persian/turkish/arabic words.

Whats the deal with the letter Z in hindi, can't you guys pronounce that correctly.
Often times when I watch an Indian program I usually hear J instead of Z.

For example the word Zalim is pronounced Jalim.

umair not only they pronounced they will write it as well .. instead of zero its jero writen and spoken .. i can understand pronouncing jero but writign jero could never be understand....

Hindi is a mixture of sanskart, mirathi, farsi....and urdu is a mixture of turkish, farsi, arabic and sanskart......

while muslim was ruling over sub cont,,,farsi and arabic was tehre officail lang, Urdu borned at mughal army

So what is the difference then? Both languages are actually mixture of many languages. You ignored the fact that Hindi speaking people use Persian and Arabic words quite frequently. Watch Zee News and come back to tell us why they call it Hindi News and not Urdu News?

What is the substitute word for "Shaheed" (Martyr) in Hindi or Sanskrit? It looks quite odd when we hear Shaheed while the news are read out in Hindi!

What should we believe:

There is no substitute of Shaheed in Hindi or Sanskrit?

or

There was no concept of Shaheed in ancient India
??

well frankly i feel we are one. pak and ind. its the line tht divides - thts all. language wise we are pretty similar -- its only the provinces of our home and our neighbor tht differ in dialects. but hindi being older and urdu being a combination of other dialects is an intersting thought.

". Yet they have given two different names to one language!"

lol next you will say subcontinent is the same yet they have given two different names to one place ..india and pakistan?
whats next ?

Sanam jaani
and what exactly was the meaning of your post ?**
