are hair cuts done well in pakistan?

We;re traveling for 2 months and then i’ll be in karachi and of need of a hair cut…

I was wondering if i should get my hair cut in karachi (if yes give me a name of a salon) or not risk it and wait to fidn a salon in NYC?

spot on mate, and they still don't listen, i went to pak recently and i told a barber mate i would like the back 'n sides shaved off with clipper 1 and leave the top as it is, he goes number aik sai bohat ziyada autar jayein gai and when i said ok boss u do wat's best, when he was finished i wished i hadn't got my hair cut :D

You can try Nabilas at Karachi. I bet they're as good as any salon at NY.

Amelie there r some great stylists in khi. Nabila's as humsa said is the best, but u'll hafta get an apptmt with her,she is booked months in advance. otherwise u could go to a salon on zamzama or the point, most of them r good.

I found all of them are good and of a brilliant quality and I do emphsise on the quality. Fret not.

I wouldn't know. I've never been to Pakistan since setting foot in New york.

amelie: though i wouldn’t know but at zamzama it is a safe bet to say that the price of a decent cut won’t be less than 1 grand (local).

WOW!!

The most I've ever paid was $13 (+ $3 for tip) for a hair cut and didn't make much fuss about it. Mostly the barber only charges $10 and that is including tip.

The things people do to look good :p

I can't even get a decent cut in the states for less than 30 dollars and that was in the midwest, forget about getting a good stylist in california or NY city....

where are you getting your cuts done? walmart hair cutters?

Will probably go with Pakistan SINCE we'll be in new in NYC anyways and it'll take time to find someone descent there anyways...
I've also heard alot of friends who loved thier experience but they got their cuts in lahore...

Well how long does it take to cut a man's hair or even how complicated is it to cut a man's hair? $30 is relatively cheap for a woman's hair cut but much too expensive for a man's. Once I paid $50 to get my hair by some barber on Madison Avenue, and to tell you the truth it didn't look any different than how a local barber or even my friend cuts it.
