are guys mentally more strong than girls when it comes to break ups?
Is it easier for them to delete pictures, messages, numbers etc? Where as girls remain attached and hold onto things for longer periods or until they’ve moved on. Or are guys like this too?

hmm....I think it depends on how bad the break-up was...I know quite a few guys who still hold on to the small small things they have from the girl.
Also it depends what was the reason for the break-up...if it was cheating...I think it would be easier to burn things, delete things :@:

We only hold on to expensive gifts . So if you want to make sure that guy misses you after breaking up , then give him gifts . They never give that away .

Guess tend to be better at distracting themselves and not dealing with their feelings. Women cry and complain to friends and so makes it easier for them to get over the breakups. Women LOOK more devastated but they generally get over it quicker than men. Men distract themselves which is why they look alright, but it usually takes them longer to get over the breakup. Also, men usually don't have as awesome support circles as women, so that makes it difficult for them to get over ex'es quickly.
This is all generalization.

Obviously, with kind of hormones women are gifted with it is always easier for men to take bad turns in relationships.

Well, I know guls who enjoy guyz as long as they are with them (ofcourse making the guyz spend money on them) and then as soon as they are away, they forget 'em. So in this case they are more strong. But generally yes, the guyz are stronger mentally.

Guys tend to deal with stuff in a quieter and less melodramatic way. If that equates to stronger, then sure.

no, i've met men that have had bad breakups with women they thought were their life partners so totally in love with and they've been depressed not just for a couple months but one of them has been in total agony for 2 yrs now. so it's depends on the person(man or woman) and how bad the breakup was whether it was an engagement or just a nothing relationship
plus many times men are the only earners in their family(father might be ill) so desi men do have to pretend to be ok even if they are going through hell inside just so they can get up the next day to earn that money for their family. i'm sure that might be the case for women too that are the only child of ill parents.

Noooo, if anything men handle it worst. A women will shed a few tears, sob for a month or two and be done with it. A man won't show he's upset and therefore will break down mentally like a little baby. Seen it happen more than once!

Well it is hard for us but we eventually learn to move on. As far as sms or other gifts that i have received from my ex...i have chucked it all. Just have a watch..she gave me which i still wear.

Depends.
Normally men have more distraction to divert their thoughts thats why it seems as if they are strong. But if someone does not have that much distraction. They will end up like a baby.
Remember, This love, breakup, attachments ... everything is in your brain. All you gota know is how to control or diver your brain to get out of a situation .

I wouldnt necessairly call the guys to be mentally stronger, yes they are emotionally stronger BUT here in this particular scenerio what u are talking about is just diff way of dealing with your emotions and the diff in the expression cuz of that u may or may not appear stronger. Males and females are two different entities...they are diff on so many levels; emotionally, physically, mentally. Hence they have diff way of dealing with things for example a girl may want to save up on the memories of the relationship where as the guy may not do that but he may actually never be able to love someone as he loved her or never be able to completey forget her which may eventually harm his future life with someone and he wl be unfair to the other person cuz of it but that happens alot. Where as in the girl wl get married to another person and get busy in her new life, family and kids and eventually her feelings for her first love wl subside. So in that case u cant say either one is being stronger, its just they have diff way of expressing and perhaps diff priorities of dealing with things too.

I think women are stronger mentally, men just dont show how crushed they are under the pretext of being manly, no matter how emotionally warped they are.
