Well, if OP or whoever engages in behavior that is “sinful” and *sincerely *feels remorse about whatever they did then it works out doesn’t it? If someone is “weak” to their temptations regarding physical intimacy or whatever the hell and still cares about following religious rules then the fact they will bother to repent in the first place makes it most likely sincere, so your little concerns are practically redundant.
