clams are objectional..they are considered halal, but may be detested (Makrooh) by some… if u ARE picky about what u eat sajal baji, then, my advice would be to not eat it…
by definition, ‘halaal seafood’ is something from water, that if taken out of water, dies. since shark is a ‘predator’ so it overrides the criteria of being halaal, though it fits the criteria of ‘seafood’.
whats the difference between shells and clams? 
i know oyesters+shells arent halaal.. (they’re makrooh)
