Im really sorry to hear about this...hope you are able to recover and move on with your life. I think the best thing to do at this point is to get busy with your job and develop some interests outside of your work as well. Jumping into another relationship is NOT the answer so dont go down that route right now.
No, all women are not the same at all. This is a very rare incident...and Ive got to say...you didnt make it easier for yourself by being there for her to use and abuse whenever she wanted.
