CM it would be nice to know who these officers are, names and their locations.
It would also be nice to have a letter writing campaign to their respective city newspapers as well as local Tv stations and even national news, congressmen etc.
These low level kameenay steal the nation's money and come sit here as shreef shurfaa.
Lets tell their communities who these people really are.
CM:Pakistan has one of the lowest direct Tax rates in the World. But the Tonga guy does pay the worst kinda tax. Indirect taxes on everything from Petrol to Utility bills.
Fraudia: I'm all for your idea, the problem again is moral. Do these people have any shame? It's pretty hard to to shame the shameless. And even if we did, would there be that much outrage?
Maybe it will make a difference and maybe not. I want their communities and their cities to know the real face of these people. writing to congressmen may make it an issue and may not but who knows when someone will pick up the story and make a bigger deal of it than you and I can do it.
so guys, i dunno much about these,
is there any newslinks that have their names charges for extradition requests, as well as where theya re currently living?
Maybe they did some favors to others and thats why they are being protected here, part of teh bargain..dunno.
The indirect tax is more on the pathetic transport system and other variable factors that increase the price. None of the indirect tax ever gets to the govt. Rather people say pay the tax and then pocket the money themselves.
Fraudia the names are on the NAB website i believe. It is up the US govt to provide the information you asked for ie where they live, just like the NAB has. However just like the UK, the US is not playing ball as that is a ton of money in the backaccounts.

as long as people are not hiding, finding them is not that tough, someone may know someone who knows that the clown is in their town. there may also be other news or articles which indicate where these people are.
as long as we know who these ppl are and even if we know that they are in US, that list can be furnished to newspapers and news TV enough people start doing it, someone may take notice
.....my first message infact on any forum at GS.......well its heartening to see many a concerned pakistanis here....
.....n as for i am into this uniform-business, lemme affirm all of u that the worthiest of assets that we own as a nation are our front liners....(who r never awarded nor previliged...).......n in heart of our heart we know that the blood for the land would definitely come from them..(for all the sweat we require during peacetimes is rendered by them too...)......
n i`m sure the nation loves its rankers more than anyone else into the business.....
about the perks n stuff, there isn`t anything peculiar.........anything that is legalised can be but debated....!!
n for those of us here who think that an average-graded officer earns some handsome amount of salary, would just look into the pays posted by Spock.......they r infact more than correct.....
what i think is that the problem is with "only some" of the black sheep who don`t even think for a second while they earn a bad reputition to their departments n the pledge thereat........they infact have been identified n put to task in some cases, still we have to go a long way to get rid of the very culture that nurtures them......
The military needs to weed out these black sheep much more effectively than it has done so. I also doubt that there is much corruption at your sipahi and NVO or junior to mid grade officers. its the higher ranks where ppl start abusing their power. and eventhough they are in a minority, they end up making an entire institution look bad.
But thats the same in civil services. even worse..
I do feel that the military needs to do more in controlling its renegades because as much as they are in a minority.there are still too many of these ppl around.
Fraudia G u r very right when u say keh the military needs to weed out all the black sheep much more effectively than it has done so.
....we as a matter of fact, require a ruthless accountability today (and not the kind of "lowest degree of imaan" that most of our "silencia" poses....)......in all our national institutions - for today our security is our political stability, our economic standing, our military
strategy and our diplomatic decision-making.........sure wars have changed theirs style in modern times, they still are wars...

What makes you think we dont consider Fraudia that?
What is balance view about bashing men in Khaki for corruption? Every one knows Khaki corrupts always surpass civilians because, legalized built in corrupt system with in the organization and no one can touch them including superior courts.
Balanced view of what? I tell things truthfully from what I have seen how the govnt of Pakistan works along with the army in maintaining the culture of corruption and nepotism.
I don’t know how I can be balanced about this. Perhaps you can tell me your secret.
