Is it right to say that? Or should we start saying, Arabs & Muslims & Pakistanis are really sad at whats happening in Iraq. Pease comment on the validity of the phrase: “Arabs & Muslims”
No. Its just because of "Arab League", they value their Arabism more than other identities. Muslims, other than "Arabists" consider them as "Muslims" first.
Some arabs are non-muslims as well, and not all muslims are arabs either. If we start adding all countries to the list, it will be a fairly long sentence. Lets just say "Everyone is sad at the loss of human life in Iraq, and all muslims are worried about the future of Iraq and Iraqis.".

Does that mean that Arab League represents non-Muslims?

Not necessarily.... It simply represents "Arabs" whatever their religion is, they simply don't want other thinking nations to join them i.e. Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran etc.

It also represents non-Muslim arabs, i.e mainly Christian arabs.
The biggest misfortune of Palestine is its labeling an Arab-Israeli conflict, while in all all honesty, it is an Muslim-Zionist conflict...It is a Muslim problem NOT an Arab problem...May Allah (SWT) show us the path...
I think it is not so much as muslims in rest of the world, but the Palestinians themselves who promote it as an Arab-Israel conflict to keep onboard their sizable christian populace. Same with Lebanon, where they frequently have Christian political leaders (including the PM). Majority may be muslims, but they consider their Arab identity as a bigger factor than religion.
Arab&Islam
Well dear According to All this i think we all have earn this respect from non-muslim..look at ourselves what we are now and what we should be according to our quran and Prophet(PBUH)..I think this Hadith of Muhammad(PBUH) clears All that hypocricy of us that ...our sins are our leaders(Humaray Amal hi humaray hukmaran hain).tz
Arab Nationalism!

Muslim disunity
i sometimes wonder why we always have to blame the arabs for everything....
if we can talk about pakistanis alone, or the sub-continent alone, why cant they talk about their region????
i saw on the tv, many pakistanis calling the news channel ppl saying that pakistan shud stay out of iraq's problem cuz it wont effect OUR region....
that was so islamic right????
Arab nationalism is jut one example! Truly all Muslim countries have this disease of nationalism. In my opinion Pakistan has the least effects of this disease.
