The other day I was surfing the net when I came across a letter to editor published in a newspaper named Gulf Daily News of 28.11.2004. It is published in Bahrain the neighbouring country with Saudi Arabia. There was a letter to editor written by some Mohammed Ayub from Pakistan. He wanted to know whether an international driving lice issued at Islamabad Pakistan is valid in Bahrain or not as Bahrain is mentioned on it. In response the Traffic authorities there replied in reply column “No, this licence is not valid here in Bahrain”. On Pakistan international licence under international agreement in the names of countries Bahrain is mentioned where this Pakistani licence is also valid. I checked with traffic authorities here in Pakistan and they confirmed me that Bahrain International driving licence issued in Bahrain is valid in Pakistan. Same Bahrain do not accept our licence. This shows what is value of our licence in eyes of Arabs and it also shows the truth about our leaders claims today that due to our participation in war against terrorism how much respect for Pakistan has increased world over particularly in the eyes of our Muslim brothers.
Please try to understand the difference between a domestic licence and an International drivers licence.
Based on your Domestic Licence you must Obtain an international drivers licence which is usable in several counteries and they’r writen on the booklet. valid for max 3 months only.
As a rule of thumb and for safety. Always try to obtain local licence
asap for where you intend to live for a long time.
Right hand driving conditions only exist in Pakistan / India / Japan and UK + few others,
You’r going over board with your lack of information , and I’m sorry that your views are wrong, about Arab / Muslims Respect for Pakistan.
Get use to the idea that respect is earned and not given as your birth right being a Muslim.
![]()
respect is earned when it comes to pakistanis, but respect is reserved piecemeal for arabs?
how many people would set their own beards on fire in rage if arab sheikhs were banned from entering madrassas/schools/homes in pakistan because they tend to take children away to raise them for a brutal existence dedicated to being tied on top of a camel and having your internal organs mushed as it canters ever so gently towards the finish line?
yar im all for brotherhood and giving the other guy the benefit of the generalisation and other niceness but I cant understand people who defend arabs when they sink to this level of stupidity.
-----x-------------
Sounds like some experiences of generalization indeed. Your above points are ‘Law breaking problems’ by the hands of ‘Gangs’ on both sides, nothing to do with Arab’s or Islamic issue as your 'above you’ talked about in in one stinking breath. ![]()
Perhaps this person should go on some ‘Hindu’ forum and resolve the issues of ‘Human Organ Sale’ markets of Hindustan..or Under age Bride Sale to the same Arabs from Indian Hyderabad,
Pakistan is an integral part of IOC and the region consisting of Arabs
Or non Arabs states,
What goes of any body’s father,![]()
Ripply’s style “Believe it, or Not”
:roman::k:
you are obviously under the influence of some mind altering agent, and thereby do not really merit my well thought posts. please come back when the influence wears off.
--------x-----------
No ! I’m not under the influence, but can not say the same about
you,:elmo::k:
Where the hell did you get the 'maderaasa, camel ride, and the other stuff in this so called " Well thought posts" ![]()
Even the buddy above you is enquiring about roads in bahrain,![]()
The thread poster has questioned the ‘Licence’ conditions ..not about your stupid comments, and “Well thought posts”
Tum log sochtay ziayda ho ,yeh he problem hai india mai ‘Human Organ Sale’ ka,
my reply is perfect for your long existing kinds on these forums ,and it also helps the thread openner to some extent for his querry,
her thread mai, chipkuu Lal , aur dosra Pakistani Jhanda Ram,
:elmo::k:
Act your age guys.
thankyou.
well raindance, i guess tumhara record atak gaya hai. You didnt have to drag india in this discussion. Expand your horizons, there is world beyond india too.
Read again the first post, the ‘Buddy’ is not concerned about the road conditions or license thingy but is concerned about the respect of pakistan in the eyes of others.
And ravage was giving some examples to prove his point which was related to the thread’s topic.
And about so called indian organ industry, and bride selling market i would say, do you have any source of information other than your imanigation. well if you find that organ market then get the first brain you can afford.

I have used my US drivers lic all over europe, and my brother has used his british lic in US. We were never asked to obtain an international drivers license.
the left hand drive vs right hand drive difference is present in this case too, but it does not impact the ability to drive in the other country
From what I have seen, the international drivers license is 'farigh' item. Most countries prefer if you have your local drivers license with you.

Regretfully you misinterpreted my post again, for the 1st and the last time , Read the WHOLE THREAD,to understand and grasp the feelings,On the contrary I would rather not discuss Hindustan. It happens only when they float suggestion or sarcastic comments intended for pun and Pak bashing , I wish you you’d seen some comments here and on few other threads,
Pakistan ZindaBad ![]()
Fraudia ; Exactly my thoughts. I have several Licenses from several countries including International issued by AAA - uk , had no problem
using it . For Safety reasons it is wise to have lessons when switching from RH to LH conditions. No law against it though.

Well said. This is another disease Pakistan needs to get rid of.
It's not the Gulf countries' fault that Pakistan is a corrupt country! the point is that Gulf countries know that many people having Pakistan get licences by bribery!!
We as a nation first need to take a good long look at ourselves before blaming others for our problems.
And by the way, do you know how many "cultural practices" are alive and well in Pakistan - I am referring to those parts of "cultural practices" that are totally against Isalm! I guess this thread is not the right one to get into the ugly details but I am sure you know many as well: bribery, corruption, not giving women the rights Allah has given them,..................................................................the list unfortunately is a long one buddy.
^ What disease would that be?
If you are comparing how licenses are made in Pakistan vs. in Arab countries, I would suggest a little research is in order, their process is not much better either (in some Arab countries at least)… And if you are trying to say that Arabs don’t respect us because of our social evils and not having Islamic values and stuff, again they need to take a hard look at what they are up to they don’t rank much higher on the women’s rights scale compared to Pakistan ...
My point was Gulf countries (where millions of Pakistanis work and live BY CHOICE AND leave their Pakistan voluntarily)!
Bahrain is a Gulf country and so in Bahrain people don't engage in bribery to get licences, get phone connections, utility connections and they are aware that in Pakistan people who have NEVER driven a car can get a driver's licence!
EVERY country on this planet today has its own domestic problems. My point was there is no use in trying to make comparisons and blaming others for OUR OWN problems.
So we should focus on clearing the corruption that arises from within instead of trying to say what others are and aren't doing.
I think you should also find out how many Pakistanis are in the Bahrain army and police force. Arab countries are not biased against Pakistan - you may want to read about the Arab League, the numerous hospitals, schools and roads in Pakistan financed by Arabs. So let's not get all worked up on driver licence recognitions and forget the bigger picture.
No Arab tells Pakistanis to cheat on their income tax returns, scam millions from the Treasury, get brainwashed by indian culture, watch ZEE TV all day!
We do nothing to promote our own identity and country and then we conviently start blaming others for our problems. There is a reason why Pakistani licences are not recognized in many countries and it has nothing to do with bias or disrespect! It has to do with a lack of control and law & order in our own country.
Arabs don't tell corrupt Punjabi beareaucrats to ruin the country, they didn't tell MQM to plunge Karachi into bloodshed in the 1980's, neither did they tell Baluchi sardars to treat the average Balochi like slaves, neither did they tell Pakistanis to exploit and discriminate against East Paksitanis,..........................................................

So is this the disease that you were talking about earlier? As far as living somewhere by choice does not mean to suppress their voices… as law abiding immigrants they should have a voice and should have the right to demand what is rightfully theirs… I am sure God would want it this way as well.

Well Bahranis honor Saudi licenses… and in Saudi Arabia you don’t have to be much of a driver to get a license. They might not use bribes as a tool but being a Saudi is good enough for them to have a license.

Sure lets not blame others for our problems. But to demand same treatment as others is not much to ask for.

They have done a lot of good for Pakistan I agree but majority is biased against Pakistanis..… general attitude of Arabs towards average Pakistanis is pretty shameful as a Muslim to say the least… So what if they are serving in their Army and Police, they are also serving as janitors in thousands to keep haram in Makkah and Madinah clean for millions of Muslims including Arabs, find out how much respect they get.

Irrelevant to this discussion, it is like saying no Pakistani tells any Arab to mistreat their women… or mistreat and kill their guests in their countries… they have their issues and we have our own… but lets not forget to show respect to each other as a common courtesy as humans if not as Muslims. They have every right to deny the use of Pakistani license in their countries and Pakistan should respond in kind but they do not have the right to judge us based on their values and standards …
