Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
He was the first one the Saudi spoke to. You must have missed the news of the general’s visit to KSA at the beginning of all this. We are seeing the the parliament saying no because the army first had said no already. Otherwise, there would not have been any debate in the parliament.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
If the military had already said no please explain:
I mean come on. If it was known a month ago the answer was no, why all this waste of time and space and why was there the trip to Turkey? The visit of the Irani FM. The discussions between Erodgan and Iran?
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
This right here is what is wrong with democracy in Pakistan. Shouldn’t the army be subservient to the elected civilian government? Why should Gen Raheel Shareef be consulted on foreign policy matters? That in itself would not be a problem, but a lot of educated, seemingly intelligent and pro-democracy people seem to think it is ok. That is the problem.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Those worried about the economic consequence and ‘wrath’ of those dragging us into wars against Muslim brothers need to learn to have ‘tawakkal’ on Allah as He is the one who provides even to Saudia/UAE whom Pakistanis have been brainwashed to consider GOD & prostrate to them. About time Pakistanis learn to rely on almighty Allah for all their needs including economic needs. If they worked half as hard as they work in Middle Eastern countries (as slaves with collars of ‘sponsorship’ around their necks for being ‘Bakistani’ expats) and contribute to their economy. With Allah’s many blessings of natural resources including Karachi and Gwadar ports, by curbing the corruption, Pakistanis can get so far ahead that they would only travel abroad for vacation, not to work in countries full of pride and arrogance and suffer subhuman treatment on jobs which pay them enough to make the ends meet.
Those advocating to ‘fear’ the ‘wrath’ of arrogant Muslim ‘brothers’ instead of Allah should be ashamed of themselves.
I think this is a good opportunity for Pakistani leadership to repent for all the past mistakes, maltreatment of and cruelty (of all forms) on the residents of Pakistan & focus on becoming self reliant and provide common Pakistanis with decent living standards including JUSTICE. Currently, getting justice is out of reach of the common man. This is a ‘make or break’ opportunity for the Pakistani leadership. Work on Gwadar, work on all the pending projects good for the economy of Pakistan, put in the back burner due to corruption, international pressure or other reasons. With some sanity, effort and above all HONESTY, sincerity and putting our trust in ONE GOD instead of charity money of SAUDIA, UAE, US, we’ll be much better off to accept to become SLAVES in other countries including UAE/Saudia.
If Pakistanis don’t respect themselves, no one is going to respect them.
I hope to see that Pakistan in my life time.
Enemies of Islam have taken all the Muslims of the world as slaves and hostages by exploiting the shepherds through psychological brainwashing tools (greed, pride - building high rise just to feel good, impress the world and west with easily accessible casinos/pubs/prostitution). Only thing I still respect about them is their women still have not given in to dajjalic desires (sell themselves / their bodies) like Pakistani, Egyptian and other Muslim women. Pakistani women need to learn to protect themselves against the psychological tools of the dajjal and not sell themselves for money. That’s like spreading fitna which is not liked by God and that’s why Pakistan has been under Allah’s wrath for so many years. If both men and women stop rejecting simple commands of God, stop being greedy, earn through knowledge, other pursuits permitted in Islam, not through ‘item numbers’ (Ayesha umer, hamza Ali, and the rest following the same trends), start focusing on learning, character building, Angels will help defeat the enemies and transfer the world’s (Muslim) leadership to Pakistanis. Right now, looking at the state of imaan of our people (someone above suggested fearing Saudis and UAE for worse economic implications instead of the almighty, how disgusting), I’m not so sure.
On Pakistani men’s role, currently Pakistan is one of the top importers of liquor. Every second man (guys as young as 18 and as old as 60) are ‘proud’ alcoholics. And they’re always looking for females who share the same habits to give them company. I’m not advocating imposing moral police like saudia, ISIS but I think it is every Muslim’s duty to know what they’re doing wrong Islamically. When something was forbidden by God that means it’s forbidden. No amount of justifications can make it permissible. It’s like story of Adam/Eve. They did not care the fruit was forbidden and still ate it hence suffered the ‘wrath’ of God. That is the wrath Pakistanis (and the Muslim ummah for that matter) is currently suffering and that wrath is what Pakistanis should fear. Not wrath of Saudis/Emaratis not throwing riyaals on us or for accepting us in slavery. So Pakistani men and women, both have to mend ways, Pakistani leadership has to ensure the justice is in the reach of common people, and leadership of political parties specifically PPP have to stop being hypocrites and take “U-turns” which they always accuse PTI of. A good step in the right direction should be appreciated.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Let them threaten. Pakistan doesnt need friends like these. Gargash should learn some respect.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Since morning i am facing the music of this arab nationalists.
Ignorant nonesense people who just think pakistanis are some one who can be purchased (due to what our top brass is ) . I think although it may have a negative impact but just get out this depencecy on GCC/US/IRAN/CHINA etc in a respectable manner.
We should always support them if harmain is in danger but not to fight for them becuase they are scared to fight brave yamanis.

Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
It doesn’t make sense. I don’t know what your personal definition of your ‘pro democracy’ is, but no where in the credo of democracy, you are forbidden to consult your army over foreign policies (especially when it involves fighting wars). Let me tell you that even in Western democracies decisions on foreign policies are not made without the consultation and in some cases, command from the military and intelligence establishment. If that wasn’t the case Obama would’ve ended the Iraq War in 2008, as famously promised.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Billion dollar investment by whom and in what? Zardari, Rehman Malik, Gilani, Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Hussain Sharif, Hamza Sharif, Ishaq Dar & Sons, the list goes on. All these politicians and their children have invested truck load of stolen money in properties and businesses in UAE. So yes we are indeed talking about billion dollar investment by criminals (namely politicians) and it goes without saying that UAE is a heaven for Pakistani money launderers. So yes, if UAE wants to go and ahead and freeze of all those illegally acquired assets, Pakistani government won’t be able to do much about it.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
The politicians need to be wary of the UAE threat as compared to the common man.

Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Are you based in arab country? what are their sentiments.
Btw haramain existed way before aale saud and they will continue to exist after them. If yemenis do take control; it would be no concern to me. Infact it would be preferable; they are muslims afterall. Its not the haramain the aale saud want protecting.. but thier own thrones that they have built on sands dunes. Haramains are being dangled purely as an emotional ploy as usual; and dopeheads all over are falling for it again. Our reply should be the same that was given to abraha in battle of the elephants…give me back what is mine; God will take care of what is his.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
So whats the worst they can do?
Stop The blackmail ‘aid’ that does not reach avg pakistani at all? stop the funding madressahs and imams? Send pakistanis slaves trapped in saudi back home? Send the scientists and other highly skilled folks back? Wow i cant think of anything worse.
Seems a win-win situation for pak to me.
Its strange how they treat yemen &yemenis like dirt; meddle in its politics; refuse its membership of the arab council because its too poor; and now they are concerned for yemenis welfare? Many of my yemeni sunni friends dislike/resent saudis alot due to their arrogant attitude towards them.
The vague and contradictory stands of Pakistan and Turkey are an absolute proof that Arab security — from Libya to Yemen — is the responsibility of none but Arab countries, and the crisis is a real test for neighbouring countries.”]
You would think that much would obvious?!
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
AsSalaamo Alaikum bro!
I’m sorry to hear that. But it is like you said, may be it will benefit more than harm, inshaAllah. Hang in there, and keep making duaa to Allah for guidance of all.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Pakistan consulting its own General is one thing. And it absolutely should. A foreign government consulting him is another. Why should Saudia, Iran, Afghanistan etc talk to General Raheel Shareef directly? Why should he even conduct foreign policy on behalf of Pakistan? That should be done through the diplomats.
Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
Agreed here. Let Raheel Sharif be stopped to send his army overriding the wishes of Pakistan through NA. If Raheel Sharif send his army and I am sure it is already fighting there along with KSA and UAE frineds, what is the purpose passing such resolution where Raheel Shareef use it as toilet paper??? Care to explain???
In all such stupidity, N$ will face the wrath from KSA even Raheel Sharif send his army proving their stance that N$ and his cronies are no more than chapraasis of Raheel Sharif.

Re: Arabs condemns Pakistan’s vote on Yemen
If General Sharif had agreed to Saudi demands in the first meeting, none of other trips and meeting would have been required. Since he was non-committed, all these other events came about which were all for nothing. That is my point.
