Logic does not require proof. It requires an IQ higher than 40. Something obviously the indian posters do not have as they support the use of Freedom of Speech by the Dutch artist and then also support this law. Well done on double standards based on a racism.
If they had made fun of Judiasm and they had been prosecute ... your point would have been valid. Unforunately they have made fun of an event in which millions of people were killed because of their faith !!!! Equating the two events in itself is hypocritical.
I personally felt the danish cartoons were not in good taste and i did find them offensive . But to make fun of an event in whcih millions were killed is sic and shows the mentality of people. Even though they might "believe" that every human life is sacred and killing one innocent person is like killing the whole humanity ..... but in practice they have no qualms about making fun of these innocent lives lost !!!!! Time to get your bearing right !!!!

Freedom of speech which the Danes so cherish, does not elude to any kind of distinction in terms of degrees of offensiveness... Everything is fair game, or none of it is.
Both incidenses were equally in bad taste. But its relative. Some Muslims would be equally offended to have their faith associated with terrorism. One of the great "isms" of the 20th century, which may possibly be as bad in terms of people dead, as the holcaust. The holocaust itself was a form of terrorsim.
And whether you like it or not, however repugnant, the holocaust is as much open to denial or ridicule as anything else.

The short answer is No. Why? Because there are laws on the books to protect a "heavily persecuted minority". Holocaust denial is part of those "protective laws". No one should have the right to outright break the law. If you don't like a law, then go challenge it in the legislature.

Pakistanis have no right to complain about these laws when they passionately support the BS blasphemy law in their own country that is merely used to kill off Christians. That's how I feel about it.

Why dont you guys work with the government of your respective countries to bring in the blasphemy laws as is implemented in Pakistan. That would be a good starting point I suppose.
