I'm on holiday in the states atm, but I wanted to respond to a few things on the forum before I go back to enjoying it, starting with this post.
When Iran was ruled by Shah, they were extremely wealthy and they were pro-Pakistan.
As an Iranian-Australian, you clearly are misinformed!
Iran under the shah was not "wealthy", as the wealth between the rich and the poor widened tremendously. The middle-class was angry at the shah, as well as the bazaar merchants. My uncle studied in the states in the 60's and actually became part of the opposition to the shah BEFORE the revolution.
Mind you, my family members all were supporters of the patriot Mohammed Mossadegh.
Being pro-Pakistan, yes I can see that considering the fact that the shah let Pakistani fighter jets into the country so they can fuel for free during the 1965 war.

After the revolution, Iran became poor and anti-West, so they do not want to support pro-West Pakistan.

Iran was invaded by Saddam, a piece of crap dictator who is still seen as a shahid by a majority of ignorant Pakistani Sunnis(personal experience). Had Saddam not invaded, Iran would've been better off.
If Iran does not want to support Pakistan, it might be because Pakistan refuses to do a damn thing about the killing of Shi'as by your beloved Taliban. When my Shi'a brothers in Pakistan continue to be murdered while blind Pakistani idiots turn a blind eye to the suffering, yeah what do you expect? The last thing Iran wants is a radical anti-Shia Sunni regime with the nuclear bomb, because the first thing these Taliban dogs will do is turn their nukes on Shi'as.

You realise these "ignorent sunnis" are the ones who supported Iran during the iran-Iraq war. Pakistan and North korea were Iran's only supporters.

And what about your country that treats Sunnis as second class citizens, refuses them basic human rights. Your country supports Shia terrorism in Pakistan?
What about all the Shia terror groups your sh**** country finciances like Hezbollah?
And you complain about Shia Muslim deaths where was your country when Armenia attacked Shia Muslim Azerbaijan? Your country backed Armenia at Russia's command.
Iran is silent to Russia's genocide in Chechnya. Because without Russian support Iran would have been flattened by Israel or NATO.
Iran has just the slave of the Russian Federation. You want the gold medal of standing up for your sovergnity while calling Pakistan "America's *****" while your country obey's every order sent from Moscow.
Re: Arabs are good friends of Pakistan, Iran always backstabs split: Arabs hate us
LOL, at Iran, the extremist mullah state trying to dictate to others about extremism. The best thing that could have happened if taliban and iran had gone to war back then. Kill two birds with one stone.
There's no doubt Arabs support Pakistan financially, spiritually and in all the ways a brother can support. Iran is as anti-Pakistan if not more, than India is. Iran is so close to Pakistan and Baloch movement gets stronger by the day- who do you think is aiding them? India, and Iran. While Afghanistan suffered all Ahmedinejad did was to kick out millions of Afghan refugees in Iran back to Afghanistan. Ahmedinejad rigged elections and takes orders from ignorant Ayatollahs who have no idea of Islam and worse, they might not have gone to Hajj even once.
This topic of this thread is against interests of Pakistan. I suspect the thread has disguised agenda of enemy of Islam and Pakistan, Why, because
Pakistan should have good relations with both Arab world and Iran. No sensible Muslim and patriot Pakistani would like to create unnecessary enmity or hatred with Arab world or Iran.
Iran was the first country to recognized Pakistan.
Pakistan shares a long border with Iran. It is very important that we have good relations with Iran.
Iran proposed oil pipe line to Pakistan at very low rate. It is strategically very important that we do not depend only one sea port for our oil supply. Due to US (enemy of Islam) opposition still this project is pending.
Iranian leadership is not US puppet and america and enemy of Pakistan want to harm the relationship between Pakistan and Iran.
Iran has the courage to raise the voice on Palestinian cause.
Re: Arabs are good friends of Pakistan, Iran always backstabs split: Arabs hate us
(Arabs have alwas been friends of Pakistan. Saudia and UAE gas gone as far as providing Pakistan)
'You can always say this but if there is a pakistani who is a friend with an arab it alawys turn out to be a back stab from either the pakistani or the arab usallay arab, this also can depend were the arab is from'
Arabs have alwas been friends of Pakistan. Saudia and UAE gas gone as far as providing Pakistan with:
1. Free oil2. Loan and aid without chargin interest3. Providing unskilled workers of Pakistan with jobs ( Please note that no other country allows unskilled workers to immigrate to their country)
4. Economic Support to Pakistani Nuclear program5. Aid during Natural disasters in Pakistan
Unfortunately, Some Pakistanies hate arabs and are pro Iran......the reason I don't want to mention.
Iran on the other hand has always back stabbed Pakistan examples are:
They tried to put Pakistan under pressure by exposing Dr A Q khan's name to AL BARADI. Pakistan transferred nuclear technology to Iran but Iran didn't keep it a secret and leaked the info to the world.
Political assasinations in Pakistan are often funded by Iran. Example : Assasination of former Governor of NWFP Gen. Retired Fazl Haq **. The Irani counsellate **Mullah Sadiq Ganji was directly involved and charged with murder.
3. Iran also started a baloch FM radio service and provoked tribal balochies against Pakistan.
4. Zahedan the city now in Iran was part of Pakistan and was twin city of Quetta....they were like Rawalpindi and Islamabad but Iran forced Pakistan during time of President Sikander Agha of Pakistan to let it go for Iran. The wife of Sikhander Agha was Irani by decent and sikander agha gave Zahedan as birthday gift to Shah Iran.
5. Iran does joint military exercises with India.
6. Iran always work against Pakistani interests in Afghanistan
Now , if you are patriotic Pakistani you tell me who is our friend?
Arabs .................or Iran?
' You can say they povide jobs to us pakistani please bhai have you seen how they work'
Re: Arabs are good friends of Pakistan, Iran always backstabs split: Arabs hate us
Pakistan should ask Iran to return back the Pakistani land handedover to them by Ayoub Khan.
There was a case in S.C. against that.
Can C.J. take up that
(Permission of N$ perhaps required)
Re: Arabs are good friends of Pakistan, Iran always backstabs split: Arabs hate us
Strategically we have made some errors with regard to Iran. Besides their competing interests in Afghanistan, the Iranians have also come under the influence of our Eastern enemies. While there is no doubt that Iran is going to pursue its own national interests, we can not afford to alienate such an import regional power.
Through Iran, not only can we facilitate the transport of energy resources, but we can also come towards an agreement towards Afghanistan, so that the Dari speaking minorities do not overrun the Pakhtuns in political power. Also in reference to CARs, particularly Tajikistan, we can further strengthen our political/economic alliances.
If we don't make headway with this current Iranian regime, then we need to support their opponents (hopefully more moderate) in their struggle for regime change. this is the time to make sure that Pak-Iranian relations are brought closer without alienating our Arab allies.
