Everyone from Somalia to Lahore to Tokyo is exposed to western culture through western music, western tv shows and now the universal western clothes aka jeans etc or even living in western countries, so overtime if people emulate it, it would make sense.

But when people, without ever having been to any Arab country nor knowing anything about arab customs or arab culture, start wearing arabic dresses or saying aakhi, wallah, yallah after suddenly becoming more Muslim (numerous examples of where I live) its utterly cringing.

amazing logic. how many of those Pakistanis that try emulate gora have visited West?
culture coming through media is ok, but if it has something to do with religious ties then it is detested.

what is the problem according to you? saving Pakistani culture or just hating arab culture? if you are really honest in saving pakistani culture you must oppose westernization too. but how come, when you yourself live in west.
