So some time ago there was a topic on glam photoshoots and i posted one that irene mahmud (detroit) shot with Miss Michigan who went on to win Miss USA last night.
This for me is a very proud day because growing up when I was younger I used to only root for blondes, as I got older I was like hmm maybe brunettes can be pretty but growing up in america we didn’t have desis or arabs or persians really on t.v. I wish we took a note from our british friends but our media didn’t get there. So I love seeing desis or even arab or persian like characters or news anchors being seen as beautiful or attractive. This is a step in the right direction, however I realize many people culturally think this is the wrong direction but it’s important for kids to be able to turn on a t.v. and see some model or news anchor or actor that they can relate to in the looks/ethnic like department. Anyhow here are a few pictures

i dont find her all that , there were better looking girls and smarter too I think ..
i just think if she is muslim or was at some point its a shameful thing for muslims.
Its our religion not culture prohibits such pagents.. I know we are not discussing religion here... but even as a beauty queen there were better looking and smarter girls on the stage...than again.. i never understand how they rank these shows anyways..
