So the Jehad started by breaking the sharia rule about the Hurmat of Kabaa and surrounding. Charity began at home. Thats why we see there is no respect of religious places including Masajids, when it comes to terrorist attacks.

you are right maybe thats why the followers dont resist in attacking their opponents in mosques.
