For my sons aqeeqah I made biryani, Karahi ghosht, shami kebab, chicken bread and sabzi.
But most ppl preferred The ghosht since it was the aqeeqah meat. Next time I would do matar pulao, Karahi ghosht,/ Nihari, kebabs, Raita and salad

how about kheer ? it can be used as a cold dessert , quite enjoyable in summers ..

for an aqeeqa regardless of hot weather everyone wants to eat meat....
meat korma
dry lamb chops,ras masi..
gosht walay chawal
kuchumer salad
raita
achar
and make a trifle for dessert or traditional kulfi falooda
it has to be a rich menu to befit the occasion...
