i m very confused about Aq khan, is he a nuclear terrorist, shame on country
or is our national hero who was just named by army to save themseves and country from U.S.

He can be hero or a media stunt. He can be just a face of Nuclear weapons and might be he never even step foot on KRL labs. I never understand why PAEC & KRL have two dual programs working in the same direction, daal mein kuch kalaa hia.. :chai:

i know what they are doing, but again the question is why two programs with two different technologies in the same direction? Is government has too much money to invest?

Why for jokes forum, we have alot of jokers in PA too.

Have anyone seen the A.Q,Khan's column in daily Jang this week.We are livung in a country of Angels.Everyone claims to be an angel.If he made money or not ,he was working like kings,People were making money.No responcible behaviour ever seen from him.. He was a tool only but after assasination of Bhutto he was given importance and he like all of our foolish leaders tried to use his position and so he became a tool of rulers who used him*.Nuke secandel*. Can you say about any indcipline act of his counter part Dr Abual Kalam of India.Perhaps no.Here is difference.

If you did, you wouldnt be asking that question. As for money, its unfortunate, but to keep the balance of power, and to shrug the neighbor from splitting the country again, its a price we have to pay.

AQ Khan is Pakistan's hero by all definitions.

yar phir wohi bekaar ki baat? first of all, theres no PAEC, its PINSTECH now, and its doing something TOTALLY different from what KRL is doing. I would love to copy paste here, but its a waste of bandwidth, wiki it or something.

And yeah all other scientists from other institutions are heroes just like him too.

Question is same why invest in two same programs with different technologies when the end result is same? Their can be only one reason, AQ Khan was a media stunt nothing more then that :slight_smile:

This guy was an Indian citizen until 1952- did nothing for Pakistan's nuclear program except selling it to Pakistan's enemy Iran and bringing bad name to the country and the quam. Dr. Samar Mubarakmand is the real national hero.

America sells nuclear technology to India against the NPT - its okay.
Pakistan sells nuclear technology to A B or C country without violating any international laws - its not okay.

sigh And people wonder I consider most people here idiots.
