April Fools tech pranks---Post here!!

I will start off with Google:

Pac-Man Has Been Unleashed On the Real World- Thanks Google! |

It’s April fools Wednesday and tech giant Google has once again done something completely outside the box. While everyone is use to being the victim of a few harmless pranks on this day, Google decided to provide some serious entertainment for all! Who doesn’t love the classic arcade game Pac-Man? Eating pac-dots while getting chased by ghosts was part of the childhood of most Americans that grew up in the 80s and 90s. One of the few downsides to the game was that the simple geometric maps could get a little boring once you mastered the dynamics. Well now, for a limited time, you can play Pac-Man anywhere in the world on real maps! From New York City to Paris to Tokyo to small town America, choose anywhere as your custom maze. Well, you might want to skip small towns if you want a game that lasts for more than a minute. Having only a few streets to run makes it kind of easy for the ghosts to trap you.

Launching the game is simple. Just go to Google Maps and choose a location. Zoom in enough to see the individual streets. Then click the Pac-Man icon next to the “Earth View” option. And Boom! The map is transformed into a level of the game.

Good luck getting anything productive done the rest of the day. You know you’re headed to Google Maps to check it out, just for one game at least. Alright, make it two or three games. You can play on your mobile phone too but apparently there is only a limited amount of locations available on this platform. Enjoy being chased around the world by Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde. Let’s hope that Google releases a game app for this because we know that a couple days won’t be enough to get your fill of real world Pac-Man!

Another one from google:

Google has outdone itself with a backwards version of Google.com, domain and all, at http://com.google. Everything in the search results are backwards, including images and cards displayed.

Re: April Fools tech pranks---Post here!!

Is Amazon Dash a prank? It looks like one to me.
