Altaf hussain is an extremist of the worst kind, do you stand along with anybody who is anit-mullah?
Lets not twist words. He is not an Islamic extremist, and that's the specific type of extremist that is under discussion. What his other extreme views are, become irrelevant, because those issues were not addressed at the rally.
Do I agree with anyone who is anti-mullah? As long as they are anti-mullah for the REASONS I am anti-mullah, and as long as they're defining a "mullah" the way I am, then yes. Do I stand WITH that person? No, because I obviously have differing viewpoints from them on other matters.
So do I side with Altaf Hussain. No.
Do I share a belief that extremism in religion is wrong and dangerous? Yes.
Mind you, this rally was not a "down with religion" rally. It was protesting behavior that is downright anti-Islamic to its core, that is being passed off as Islamic. The actions of the Jamia Hafsa girls are nothing to be proud of. They broke the law. They have committed treason, essentially, by establishing their own law system within a country without any consultation from the government or the people of the country. They kidnapped 3 individuals. In retaliation to police action, they kidnapped two other individuals. They occupied illegal territory. They broke the law by occupying the library in the masjid to prevent it from being bulldozed. And when the government tried to negotiate with them, they were not willing to even talk. They resorted immediately to violence. They bullied and destroyed property of video store owners. They teach these girls to carry sticks around and to use them on people which they have no legal or moral right to do.
If you support the Jamia Hafsa girls, then just come out and say so, Iconoclast.
