So every ones so caught up in the loss annd bashing Misbah, that Wahab’s 5 wicket haul is pretty much being missed. One thread was opened but with a slightly different mindset.
So stop the bashing, and appreciate this achievement. I don’t care about ICC, in my mind he is the Man of the Semifinal.

Great bowling by Wahab Riaz...I little bit suspected that before the beginning of the tourney...but wonder why he has to sit out in a few matches...the management?
PS: The potential Junaid Khan was never tried...why? That's not the way to introduce and enhance the Squad by the future players...

Wahab bowled really well in the SF. Him, Umar Gul and Junaid should form our pace attack in the Windies. And Saeed Ajmal should be our first choice spinner in tests IMO

I personally think he is mesmerizing even in ODIs. Didn't he totally outwit the batting side that is known to play spin very very well? He needs to be in the ODI side as and when the pitches suit spin. His doosra was unreadable.

Wasim Akram had said in the early part of the world cup that all Wahab needs to work on is how to get the ball to come back into the right hander when he bowls over the wicket. I think the one he bowled to sehwag was a bit like that.
