If there is anyone going to the Annual meeting this year let me know, it would be really nice to get to know a few guppies. Orlando will be great this year, I have been looking forward to it for a while now
APPNA is a fantastic organization with really great people. My parents have been members since it was founded and it is just so great know that it has been developing into an organization that is beyond some professional society where you go to meetings to actually party it up. APPNA sehat and the HDF has really changed the focus back to Pakistan. I mean sure we all like to go to it and have fun, but it’s important to remember the central message.
HDF has spun off into a seperate entity on its own. although it was started under APPNA, now it has been working indpendently. Good group of people, great work.

Fraudz, I know yara. HDF still has a core support from docs, thats why I still think of it as part of APPNA.

Nasim Ashraf's in charge of the HDF now? RIght? He's got the status of a Federal Minister..I think!
Anyway I have some friends who's families are involved with APPNA. Not really relevant to us Brit Guppies but still I've heard the groups done some good work ( although I know a few who did complain about it sufferingf rom some politicisation?)

Glad to know that you have heard of APPNA, is there a similar org in the UK? Ofcourse theres politicization (this is a Pakistani group :D), but overall it's a really great bunch of people to get know and find solutions to Pakistan's problems.

Nasim Ashraf was part of HDF but is now doing similar work in a government capacity in pakistan. HDF itself is a private organization and is not linked to teh government or any political party.

Thats only one small aspect of it. The good work that has taken place through APPNA is commendable. RF mentioned APPNA sehat and HDF already which are only 2 of the many programs which started at APPNA.
heck, plus docs work hard, let them party it up man.
RF;glad to know someone here mentioned APPNA,i would love to go there but i dont have any details of it besides the fact that i have been writing to them regularly for information.Actually i do not have any one to accompany me if i get hold of one of my pals i would sure try to be there.
