Applying makeup for formal functions in sweaty, hot weather

You’re in Pakistan during the rainy season and wearing gorgeous, formal lenghas. How would the pros of GS approach it so we can still have the photos come out well and there is still some sign of makeup? Can you include all products you would use?

Blot paper and some kinda loose finishing powder (I use the one from mac) on top of makeup are your best friends.

Setting spray obviously won't work with the humidity right? But I would think the finishing powder would block pores. I guess minimal amount or no foundation :(

^The Urban Decay one is good in humidity..

Estee Lauder Double Wear and MAC Pro Longwear foundations hold up brilliantly in hot and humid climates as well.. The latter is my current favourite..

Someone once told me ice on the face before applying makeup works in killing off face sweat. No clue if it does or not.

Try using powder foundation instead of liquid. I like MAC studio fix powder + foundation. its the best powder foundation I have used, and I use it all the time over my tinted moisturizer when I don't want heavy coverage.

^MAC Pro Longwear is also my go-to foundation at the moment.

^Gives such a nice finish, doesn't it.. one application lasts all day for me as well.. no touch-ups needed..

Always apply makeup with a damp sponge or brush to get longer wear out of it in humid weather.

Arm your makeup with a really good primer...benefit makes a good one.

Setting sprays are also recommended.

You can make drug store foundation look amazing if your primer is good, application is good and you set your makeup well.

Setting powder

MAC fix+ spray or Urban decay all nighter spray.

And the most important for me is blotting paper; you can easily keep those in your clutch/purse.
