Say you know someone who went for an interview at a certain company. You came to know about that role because that person shared this with you. Would you apply for that same role with or without letting the person know?

Depends if youre applying if you really want it, and if its publically advertised then i sppose so. You cant really stop someone from applying for a job. Q

No I wouldnt do that. Its just not ethical otherwise ofcourse there is no legal binding. What can be done is take the person in confidence and explain that you want to apply as well if that's ok and then do it. But without that applying is just nor respectful to that person.
