Sure, what is the background of the source you provided?
I also think it will be a good practice for those sharing to add this info. Otherwise it’s incomplete at best and incorrect at worse info. Either someone has to go research to figure it out, or ignore it because it seems dodgy.

Sources would be good, but then the thread will have to move to ‘Religion & Scripture’. I think we should leave this thread in ‘Household Affairs…’ for light reading and ‘Religion & Scripture’ one for serious debate. People who seek sources for any ahadeeth mentioned here, can post it as a question in ‘Religion & Scripture’.

I’m not 100% sure to be honest - but my family practiced it, and in-laws (who are not related) also practice it, so I assume it’s sunnah. Could be wrong…
