@Lucid_Chaotic

the truth of the matter is… S3 or no S3, **Apple loyalists will always do this. For many, it’s the “cool” factor of having the iPhone first. **

In my line of work, we study end-user behavior in technology adoption and **Apple loyalists are well known to relate their purchases to their own personal image.
**
Image is a very strong determinant of adoption in Apple’s case… followed by Ease of Use… while for other tech vendors, it tends to be Usefulness, Ease of Use, Personal Innovativeness etc.

I’ve been saying that for years now.
