The good service is only until your warranty exists. After that, you’re better off selling your iPod, adding some more money and buying a new one

I can't sell it on Ebay because I got my name engraved on the back of it, so unless I find someone with the same exact first and last name as me, nobody is going to even think about buying it. :(

Did it occur to you that there might be like million other people with the same initials (or many thousands with the same first and second name in your country)? Ebay is still a better bet. You will almost certainly sell it for a reasonable price.

PS. Get the real deal, iPod Video 80 GB, with brighter and sharper display ;)

Okay so I bought a 2GB iPod nano a few months ago for $150.

and NOW, Apple is selling a 4GB VIDEO iPod nano for the SAME PRICE! My sister just bought it for her hubby for Eid.

I am so pissed right now.
And on top of that my iPod freezes sometimes.

it’s a cruel world out there.

Why did Apple do this? How come the new one is 4gb and video and it’s the same price?!

3-4 Months ago you bought it for 150 $...Good price. Now apple comes again and sells it's 4 GB ipod for the same price...Good price once again. If you have 2 gig more or less, that means nothing. You're crying just for 2 Gig, c'mon...

In the end the marketing segment of apple developed a good plan. Sell the 2 GB for 150 $ and 3-4 months later they sell 4 GB for the same. Apple gonna make huge profit cuz the ppl will come running and buy the new one.

I think Apple saw more profit in selling 4 GB for 150 $ than 2 GB. That is why they changed their marketing strategy and now sell the 4 GB ipod for the same price.

Next time I'd advise you to check out first if Apple is doin' good with their products or not. If not, automatically nearly every company will develop a strategy to make more profit and to satisfy more and more customers...

Okay, I just checked on the papers that came with the iPod - the warranty is 1 year. It says that if I’m having problems with it, they will have you send it in for either 1)free maintenence, 2)an exchange for another one, or 3)a full refund. I’m going to call them up and sound really pissed, and hopefully they’ll give me a refund and then I can buy this new one.
