Metro is geared towards unifying the mobile and desktop interface. When people start getting used to Metro and then suddenly they are at a mobile store and see a Win8 Phone they’d be like, “oh yeah, that’s what I use on my PC”.
First they tried bringing the desktop interface to the mobile, which didn’t work. Now they’re doing it the other way around. Childish maybe a positive thing when bringing people in from other OS’s.
