Appetite Problem

My problem is :

When I eat alone I cannot eat more than 10 -15 morsels. (my 4 year old cousin eats more than that.)
When I eat with family I eat only about 15-20 morsels now.
When we have our family daavats then with my cousins I eat A LOT . jitney zyadah loog are eating with me utna he zyadah i eat.

So now dheerey dheerey ker ke I have totally lost my appetite.
I only feel a lil hungry when at work and that time too I usually don’t eat cause when I ask my colleagues to eat choc or some similar snack saath mai they say  they will only have tea ..are on a diet etc etc and I can’t eat when I have others in the room who are not eating .
So i only ate like maybe 3-4 times when colleagues ate with me.
I don’t even eat chocolates now (which I used to love and still love) until I have someone else eating with me too.

I find food tasteless when I eat alone.I only eat a little so that when abbu asks I can tell him I had food.

So all in all I have lost my appetite and I have lost weight which was already underweight and I have become very chirchiri as I usually do when I lose weight.

I want to increase my appetite.Any tips?

Are you stressed?

Sometimes, internal factors such as stress is the cause of reducing effectiveness of your immune system.

Re: Appetite Problem

what does immune system have to do with appetite ?:konfused:

Appetite is a complex regulatory system geared to meet your body’s energy and nutrient requirements. Numerous factors can be involved in what you might be going through. Of course, one of them is: if you are stressed?

Loss of appetite is a decreased desire, sensation or stimulation to eat. Why? Because appetite loss is a symptom for many diseases, disorders or conditions in your immune system which fights bacteria, germs, and micro-organisms. And just in case you don't have any infection in your body. You might want to call for medical attention to prevent your body from wasting.
