I had a slip and fall over the weekend and got injured badly. I am doing fine now alhumdulillah. I was asked to do a sadaqa by my friends and family. I am sure there can be no better use of that sadaqa than this case I have donated $100. May Allah accept it Ameen.

just note that the total raised is not a live number so if u donate and dont see the number change dont be too concerned about it.

My father actually sent me the link two days ago and asked me to contribute after he had sent his donation. Seeing the severity of the situation, I first of all sent my donation to Urdulink and then decided to post the link here on GS. I'm glad to see that so many of you have taken part in this and hope many more will do.

For anyone who still have doubts about this, I actually contacted the hospital and they confirmed it. This was their response:

Sir,

We hereby confirm that Mr. Rana Shamim S/o Mr. Abdul Hameed Age 22 years R/o H.# 10 St.# 1 Madina Colony Shakhepura is admitted since 12 March 2008 in Room # 441 and is in craticial condition due to
accident. However, he is being treated by Prof. Dr. Aftab Ahmed Orthopeadic Surgeon of this Hospital.

May Allah give him a quick and full recovery.

Now that so many people are calling for him, I am sure they will do their best to make him recover .. rest is in the hands of Allah.
