I can start in apps. I’ve used recently “Gas buddy” in iOS especially since i was on a road trip. Usually on highways the gas stations are very expensive so you can easily locate the cheapest gas station nearby alongwith the distance from your loc. Its free. Also you can quote the latest gas price as well for any gas station and I think they offer some small incentive for that as well.
