I’ve used recently “Gas buddy” in iOS especially since i was on a road trip. Usually on highways the gas stations are very expensive so you can easily locate the cheapest gas station nearby alongwith the distance from your loc. Its free. Also you can quote the latest gas price as well for any gas station and I think they offer some small incentive for that as well.

Its pretty cool. But its an old app, been using it for almost 3 years now

I use the app every now and then when I am heading out of town. Have been using the site since 2002 when I used to live in St. Louis since because of counties the price used to be different even in the same street

I have used it to calculate expected gas expenditure when driving long haul.

on a cross country road trip this is last thing you want to do…look for cheap gas price…
unless you dont mind sleeping in the car… and hitch hiking…:nono:

I promise you its a hazard… be warned.
On such a trip go by what your gas tank tells you.. half empty tank .. stop at first gas station..

I actually did it out of town after reaching destination. Cant pull something like this on a highway when you dont know when the next gas station will come.
