So enlighten us as to which parts should be taken to be “decisive” and which part is taken to be “Allegory.” I suppose we can rely on intuition, common sense, reason and logic, or something perhaps more concrete in deciphering what is meant to be allegory and what is meant to be decisive? Like perhaps ACTUAL scientific evidence that supports our belief that the description for the creation of man in the Koran is NOT to be taken as literal.

There is nothing perverse or deceptive in examining ACTUAL evidence, that is on the ground, and drawing conclusions from it. The dishonest ones are those who take the evidence (dare I say, the evidence that God himself must have left for us to discover, otherwise why would it be there?) and still refuse to see that things like evolution are a reality…
