Now all those who used to call IK as Taleban Khan are wondering why PTI was not in the APC.

No concrete road map for peace has come out. A few months ago Rahman Malik and others used to say that there will be no negotiations with TTP until they lay down their weapons, ceasefire and renounce violence. And now the political parties are talking about peace without any preconditions?
Less than a month remains for this parliament, will the militants agree to negotiate now? Can a permanent ceasefire be reached without involving the military?
Convening the conference now could have political reasons as well. The people of KP are not happy with the way PPP/ANP have handled the issue of terrorism in the province/tribal areas. Under current circumstances its not possible for ANP to carry out political activities openly. The message given out from this meeting could deflect any attacks that could come their way during the election campaign.

Its quite obvious that this is merely an election ploy. These joker parties are using age old tactics of trying to stir public emotion in their favor by doing last minute dramas like this. For the past 5 years, they have been watching people die left right and center, and all they could do is release hollow, pre-recorded condemnation statements. And now all of a sudden, they want to negotiate. They havent been able to do anything in their very own backyard(Karachi), where their own people are killing each other. What makes them think they can accomplish something here? They simply dont have the will to do anything positive.

The joker The Fake Pathan who managed a march to Tank with a thousand people in favor of Taliban missed this chance , Actually living alone with dogs has great impact on his life .
He wanted to live alone in politics too .

The taleban have said that they will continue attacks until a ‘viable’ peace agreement is reached. I wonder what that is for them.

PESHAWAR: The Pakistani Taliban have called an ‘important meeting’ of its Shura (council) in response to the Awami National Party’s All Parties Conference peace talks offer in Islamabad, a spokesman for the banned militant outfit said Thursday.
“We have convened an important meeting of the shura tomorrow and will respond by 1 pm Friday, what we are going to do next,” a spokesman for the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Ehsanullah Ehsan told Dawn.com speaking from an undisclosed location.
Ehsan said the militant group would hold its meeting at an undisclosed location along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
More than 27 political parties and lawyer organisations participating in the APC had agreed to negotiate with those Taliban militants who were ready to accept the law and the Constitution of Pakistan.
However, the militant group vowed to continue terror attacks until a peace deal is reached.
“The attacks would continue until we go into a viable agreement…its not so that we should stop every thing before the achievement of our goals,” he said.
“We shall be continuing with more such attacks until the peace deal is finalised. Military attacks and peace talks are continuing on both sides, the security forces have also not stopped attacking the Taliban despite offering an olive branch.”
About the participation of the Jamiat-i-Ulema Islam (JUI-F) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) in the conference, Ehsan said: “The Jamaat-i-Islami has not participated but we shall respond tomorrow after the meeting.”

With the type of scum that exists in our status quo politics, going it alone is a breath of fresh air.
What you are trying to say that he should join hands with all the dogs and asses in PPP and PML-N etc, and be a part of the same rubbish that these parties have originated from. Thanks but no thanks.
I dont think this APC will result in anything. It does not have any clout, or any genuine interest anyway. These people are merely jokers trying to make a mockery of the nation, by fooling them with stop gap measures that dont mean anything, just for some cheap votes. Once they get those votes, it will be back to their normal self once again
