Few months back they were talking about a bullet train... Govt puts out these extravagant white elephants every now and then to distract people from the fact that hardly anything has been done to imporve Paks aging Railway lines.

But we have miniature models of mono-rails that are bringing about a revolution in pakistan, and boom boom too! it also creates a taste of atta, and makes it dissapear too!

Just take a look at the list of countries and train accidents from 2000-2007 and please let all of us know how incompetent Indian, USA, European, Japanese, Israeli and others governments are as compared to Pakistani Government.

And once you have compiled the results, lets send it to the AWAM of those “democratic” countries as they are not aware of the fact that leader of the Govt is responsible for each train accident (and every lose nut-bolt) and that they should start the agitation against their Govts

and once this theory of yours changes the face of the world, we will start the movement to nominate you for noble peace prize or we may start a prize with your name too after all this will save lots of lives by just throwing out the leaders of these “democratic” countries.

To start with USA had 6 train accidents in 2007…

I just went through the list on indian railways accidents. a lot of them are sabotage , or bus/truck/carts hitting the train or land slide. They dont typically count as train accidents.
on top of that Indian railways run 15000 approx trains a day and runs on 64K Kms of track , otoh Pakistan railways has total track length of about 8K.
Any comparison has to keep the size difference in mind..

Trains get derailed to create fear, chaos, and instability. Sheikh Rasheed and his wigs have nothing to do with it.

He does some good, but its usually right before a big election… My wife is from one of the Pindi areas where they usually vote Sheikh Rashid… She says he always makes dash to get things done when its election time…

Other then that, Railways are something he can afford to neglect as its harder to spot…
