So I had a baby in nov. and at my 6 week appt my dr put me on the progestrone-only pill called Errin since i was breastfeeding. My son stopped feeding after he was three months old (i tried hard to make him drink but he just refused to even latch on). Soon after I started having irregular bleeding which would last a couple of days. In short, i wasn’t too happy with the pill so I stopped taking it (after finishing 3 entire packs). But after quitting last month, I didnt get any period this month- i m about 10 days late now. There is a very remote chance of me being pregnant because 1) its so hard to be intimate when the baby keeps interrupting so we barely get to do anything and 2) we used protection each time. Im thinking of taking a hpt just to make sure. Has anyone else missed their period after coming off the mini-pill? I m so nervous I dont want to be pregnant again.
P.S. I don’t have any symptoms of pregnancy- and in my last one i had started throwing up and feeling nauseated even before my missed period.
i also took the mini pill n i had breakthrough bleeding whilst tking it went to dctrs n she advised using extra protection coz the bleeding in btween can indicate tht ur still ovulating hence u cn still bcme prgnnt like u i also went through the sme thng, went dctrs again had a preg test done n thnk goodness it was negative
dctr then put me on combind pill which mde me put on weight now i hve a coil put in n i hve no worries
well, i took the test yesterday and it came out negative so i guess its just my body adjusting. we also used extra protection while on the mini pill but i want to go on the combined pill now- I used to take it before with no side effects but i guess I have to wait until the periods return
