fabs, my dad was employed by HMC, taxila - hence the connection.
afia, Wah Cantt is definitely the best place to settle in my opinion. It's highly developed, and a very clean and safe place to live. For your weekly shopping, you can always go to pindi or isb which are less than an hr. drive from wah cantt.
i did my junior high at Presentation Convent Hassanabdal. It' was an excellent school back in the eighties. Not sure how it is now. I also attended Sir Syed College, Wah Cantt and did my secondary level grades at that school. Highly competitive, but not as good as Presentation Convent when it comes to personal attention to each student. I hope this helps :)
sadzz, yes we used to live only fifteen minutes walk from the taxila university.
