Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) was set up in 1985 as a Center of Excellence to offer programs that would begin to impact the management of resources in Pakistan and the region. Since its inception, LUMS has not only established itself as the leading university in Pakistan, it has redefined the standards and quality of higher education. Currently it offers one of the region’s best MBA programs, a 4-year undergraduate program with majors in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics and Social Sciences and a Masters and Doctoral program in Computer Science.
As a result of a recent visioning process, LUMS has realigned its goals for the future. In the next 10-15 years, LUMS will grow to 4000 students with a much stronger emphasis on graduate programs. Plans are underway to start graduate and doctoral programs in Economics and Business. New Graduate Schools in the areas of Information Sciences and Law are also being considered. LUMS wants to maintain a healthy balance between its undergraduate and graduate programs.
In this new exciting phase of our growth, we seek academics and scholars to become part of our faculty on a permanent or visiting basis. We are looking for individuals who already have a demonstrated track record of teaching and research, or are fresh PhDs from reputed universities. We need faculty in the following areas:
