anyone using MS IE 6.0....

Well, I am.. I thought to upgrade mine to version 6.0. Worked fine till now. A few cool new features. So far so good.

Until today. when I tried to browse a website. http:\www.packardbell.com

This is what I get…

Well, luckily I only updated IE on my Win2k partition

, So I still can go back to WinME and open the page from there

yes, i checked out the beta version of IE 6..suprisingly stable for a microsoft beta..though I did have some customry crashes. But many websites have not upgraded theri scripts for IE 6, and cannot recognize it...that is why swicthed back to IE 5.5 for now.

Also IE 6 seems to be faster in loading pages. Should be a good upgrade once it goes gold.

Installed it.. it was 'okay'.. nothing extra new about it.. uninstalled it cuz its a beta, and ie 5.5 is workin really stable on my machine rite now.

  1. How many OS do u use? I remember you posted your desktop on Linux. So u have Win2K, WinME and Linux???

  2. Hmmmm… looking at your Links list, TOPP seems to be there all over… but what is that link “Index of -gupshup-gallery2”?

its not suprizing peace.. i am sure gizzy is ONLY being modest here and if u look under the hood real tightly, u will c couple of unix flavours like bsd releases and a sun, and then some linux too ;-)..

I am using Beta version of Window whistler professinal it comes with IE6.0 my husband install it toay

Gizzy! i just test the packardbell.com site it work just fine in my browser.
