Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

I just purchased a plan from them to test the service, as of yet it’s been excellent and Customer support’s been awsome…
Anyone else tried there service…

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

Hey mani, this looks like an interesting service. Can you please explain how it works, they're a bit hazy on the site and the FAQ is confusing. So you get a number for $12 (one time fee) and u can forward that number to any 2 numbers (in the same area), like my home and cell numbers? Do I need the internet to do anything else other than to maintain/config the account?

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

This is how it works.....

There is three different plans....

$12 is one time Setup Cost.....
$5 is one time activation....

$5 one give you 170 min of inbound call from pakistan.... You can recharge this
$10 one would give you 370 min of inbound call from pakistan... Also could be recharged....
$40 would give you unlimited Inbound calling......

Now there is alot of services out there the good thing about this one is that they give u a toll free # in Pakistan. Which could be dialed from any STD phone and you can get calls from anywhere in Pakistan.

I still didn't believe it and i sent them an email and here is the reply i got.....

Hello Mr. Usman

We are really thankful for your comments.

PakToll is not taking any extracharges , there is no such thing like that of 0900.You can take my email as record. The only charging is done fromyou prepaid balance or free minutes.Again , this number is absolutely toll free from pakistan. You can check it , If you feel you are billed even a cent fromPTCL , please take call logs from PTCL and send us as scanned image. We will be resposible for any payment , charged to you by PTCL in Pakistan.

I have tried the service and Crystal clear Voice....
In near future u will be able to get calls from Pakistani cell phone's also.....
There customer support is excellent too........

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

Please explain in simple words to a jahil like myself.

Does this service allow me (a Canadian) to setup a NUMBER and my Pakistani relatives can call this number WITHOUT their phones (cell/home) getting charged?

Is this true??

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

Yes this is absolutely true…
You will be given a toll free # in Pakistan and all of ur calls will be forwarded to a # of your choice anywhere in the world…

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

I don't know why they are asking for a SS# or a NIC#. Sounds like a ID theft scenario.

Mani, keep checking your bank and credit card accounts. There's never a reason to need a SS# or a NIC # to create any account.

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

Yup, Provided a fake SS # and payed with paypal…
Same thought came in my mind before i signed up with them…

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

How do u dial that 907 number? I've never seen that before?

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

How does 6.7 cents per minute sound? No activation fee just pay as you go. Call any number with any SIP phone.

Re: Anyone tried paktoll.com Tollfree Pakistan DID #

Well i spoke with a guy who deals with Telecom in pakistan but he is in dubai…
He said the 1907 # is a toll free # for international dialing from Pakistan…
I have had my relatives dial from the landline and goes thru with no problems…
