It’s certainly one of the more complicated languages in the world. I haven’t learned it myself but have been involved in an NSF research project where our team built pronunciation lexicons and statistical models to understand spontaneous conversational Mandarin speech.

From what I know, it’s a little difficult to teach yourself… it’ll help if you have someone who can help you with it. Good luck!

yep its hard…since for every thing there is a separate character. in order to learn these character languages u require atleast 7 years.

whereas languages like arabic can be learnt in two-three years depending on your kidney processing :hehe:
