Ive recently ordered this book online, its called," A collection of Favorite Recipes from Pakistan." By Dr. Talat Bukhari ,its in english, has anyone got this book? Also i find pakistani cookery books hard to find any reccomendations for the Dalda cookbook?
Re: Anyone read these books?
The Dalda cookbook is awesome.
Re: Anyone read these books?
Do you know where i can get Dalda cookbooks from? I'm in u.k
Re: Anyone read these books?
I suppose maybe you can order them offline. Someone sent them from Pakistan to my mom.
Re: Anyone read these books?
I wanted to purchase some cookery books from this website. Has anyone bought online from this company before? www.**welbooks.com**
Re: Anyone read these books?
oo no…
hmm… i’ve tried to stay away from ordering desi stuff online from a desi company. If you go to your local grocery store, they might be able to order it for you.
You can get it from www.desistore.com. I’ve heard they’re better about doing orders.
Oh hey look, there is a Dalda Cookbook Volume II!!!
Re: Anyone read these books?
desi store.com is pretty good with orders- we had ordered some Quranic audio from there and it was a seamless process.
Re: Anyone read these books?
PCG, don't order the second Dalda volume, it's a total waste of money. You might want to buy Salma's Signature on that website, it is better. Also, if you guys can read Urdu, buy this one: Knorr kay Zaikay by Kaukab Khawaja.
Re: Anyone read these books?
www.**welbooks.com Sell books really cheap, but i’m not sure whether to order from them. Can someone check it out and tell me what you think? The Dalda cookbook on there is only $11 including shipping on other sites its $22 and extra for shipping.**
Re: Anyone read these books?
taffy - try the dawn recipes - they come out great!
