Haven’t read a good book in a very long time. Stopped reading after I finished school 
Would like to limit my viewing of the tube and start reading more. Can anyone recommend a really good fiction book. Absolutely loved the 2 or 3 books by Amy Tan.

Not lately , although I love to read fiction and wish my school days come back where I could read fiction all day during summer vacation and nothing to worry about.

@Devil...ness what was Shangai girls about? A brief summary would be appreciated. Any type of fiction as long as it is fascinating and worthwhile read. Used to read alot in my school days. Of course I didn't subscribe to all the paki channels back then. Ever since hum tv is available in US I have become addicted. Some of the dramas are really wonderful and have some worthwhile message but others are just time pass and rubbish. I am trying to force myself to get back to reading. Now I spend my time reading fan pages lol!
BTW Amy Tan's Joy Luck Club and the Kitchen's God's Wife were fascinating reads. I absolutely loved "The Firm" which was made into a movie starring Tom Cruise.
