Just want to know if any of you guys have ever ordered shalwar kameez or desi kaprey online. If so, which site is good and what is the quality and delivery like. Before anyone says give a pic to someone going to pak to have it made, unfortunately my experience over the years hasn’t been exactly been great. Each time I’ve sent over a pic I’ve usually received something totally unwearable - no thanks to my pak cousins! I’ve seen Bargellos website and the clothes on there are really beautiful and plus they’ve displayed their prices in English £’s. I can just about make up a basic shalwar kameez but even that takes me ages! Also is it possible to purchase loose fabric online, I’m sure I saw a Pakistani website some time ago who did loose fabric but can’t remember the name! Any info welcome. Thanks.

I ordered 3 outfits from 786shop once and also some from akscollection.
They came ok.....
just make sure u have your correct measurements. That I believe is most
important.

I’ve ordered from www.sila.com and the outfit was way too big for a size small. i wanted to order from www.bargelloshop.com but first i contacted them to find out if they sell real designer clothes or if they just copy them. www.bargelloshop.com wrote back and said that they sell original designer outfits and that they give a percentage of their profits to the designers. I didn’t believe them so i wrote to many of the pakistani designers and finally HSY wrote back saying that he had never heard of www.bargelloshop.com and that they were copying his designs. He said if you want to order anything you should order it directly from the designer himself. The moral of the story is that you should never order anything from a website that uses pictures that they have taking from magazines. You will end up spending hundreds of dollars and the outfit might not even look like the photo.

Oh dude totally, i’ve such a hard time getting clothes from pak, even while i’m there the darzi still fks up. But one outfit my dad brought back was hideous. It didn’t fit, even tho they had my measurements, and the kaam on it was ugh. It was actually a handmade bridal gown that my dad brought back (I don’t know why :halo: ) . I hated it an i didnt wear it for a yr but now it’s my favorite dress! In fact, if I could, I’d wear it to my own wedding, I’ve yet to find something that matches it’s beauty

Its so stupid. You’d think that the designers would be able to make their clothes and export them out - they should have boutiques set up in various cities across the world. 
Easier said than done I know. Lekin phir bhi! 
Who has money to be making trips to Pakistan every year getting new clothes done (other than the memon girls out where I live

PCG its very hard for the designers to set up their own boutiques abroad. Do you have any idea how expensive it is to rent a store in the USA? Here in NJ where all the indian boutiques are its about $6000 per month and then they have to worry about finding someone to run the store for them. There are some boutiques that do carry alot of the pakistani designers outfits. You just have to find out about them by going to local desi events and fashion shows.

well whilst on bargellos website this afternoon I noticed summat weird. A design I saw in Asian Woman mag was featured on there. And there is no way that designer would be flaunting her design on a website so a phone call to her put things a little into perspective. Apparently a lot of her designs have been appearing on thier website and she only sells through her outlet in Green Street. Now makes me think twice about ordering clothes over the net. (Sighs)

yeah www.bargelloshop.com is a total rip off, so is www.hinab.com. you should order from websites that use their own models and clothes. it’s very easy to tell which websites are copying designs and which sell their own stuff. Take www.sila.com for example…they sell their own designs and you should feel safe ordering from them.

i think they do deliver to the UK but i’m not sure so you might want to write them an email and check first. My experience was over all average. The outfit did look like it did on the website and the measurements were what they listed on the website for a size small but their size small was way too big on me and in order to wear the outfit i had to get it taken in.

Just the one time from Seasons, but as i now design and fabricate all my own clothes i only purchase western clothing once in a while online.

I ordered a dress from a site called indian-dresses.com I sent them a pic I found on a expensive site, and asked them how much they would charge me for the same suit - and their prize was much cheaper. But I was kinda nervous before the suit arrived, cuz I wasn't sure if it would look the same as the pic. When the suit arrived I was simply stunned! It was even prettier than in the pic I sent! Wow, amazing! All of friends just loooove this dress. Im attaching the picture....now, imagine this dress, 5 times prettier! The measurements were correct and all.....And I have already ordered my 3rd suit from their site!!:)
