im rukz, i recently joined gs afew months back when my wedding was confirmed and since then im addicted to it,its definetly really helpful, it helped my sister with her wedding preps 2years ago and now me :)
my sister has completed a fashion designing degree in the london institute of fashion and also my mother is a tailor, she sews and takes orders from alot of people in our local area, however i thought perhaps this might be a good opportunity to advertise their capabilities and if anyone wants suits, frocks, dresses etc sewn then they can contact me or pm me.
also if anyone wants for example a suit from gulahmed stitched, then they can pay me for the price of the fabric and just the stitching costs, no need to pay shipping charges.and stiching prices will be reasonable and cost depends on the kaam and design.
the only reason i wont charge shipping charges is because of the nature of my dads work, we have employees travelling to and from pak every month so there will be no need for shipping costs as i wont be paying either so its not right i charge you! and if you live in london then you can just either travel to my house and collect the outfit or if you want i can parcel it and you can reimburse me with the cost.
im quite new to all this, this was just an idea.... let me know what you guys think???
is there anything else that i can do that people over here may need??

hi rukz, i signed up to this site when I googled "i need a tailor for my saree" and read your blog. i purchased two saree's in delhi about 6 weeks ago, i am not asian but fell in love with them and now having a 40th Bollywood / Hollywood party and need someone to make my skirt and blouse for me. I live in Northfields close to Southall and used to work in Uxbridge so nice and close.
i want the skirt to be adjustable and i have a couple of ideas i want to run past someone on the style of blouse i want. it's my party so i want the final look to be very glamorous and the finish to look professional.
heard lots of stories about some tailors that ruin the saree and that would be disastorous for me if my saree was ruined.
happy to chat offline or by my personal email. my party is back in nz at the end of july so would want to get the saree ready for mid july.
