I am thinking of moving out of Mississauga next year (when I came here it was a suburb, but now becoming TO). I like Stoney Creek area near Hamilton or Cambridge would be my second choice. I work in Burlington (adjescent to QEW) so half an hour drive is OK for me.
Anyone lived in those area or can mention any other good suburb in West to live in peaceful neighbourhood.

My choice out of Cambridge or Stoney Creek would definitely be Stoney Creek. Its adjacent to the Greater Hamilton area... and in terms of public transit, it is well connected to GTA via the Go Transit system and there's a decent Muslim population.
The biggest disadvantage of Cambridge is that there's almost no way to get to the major cities other than GreyHound. Although the Muslim population is still decent, there's a dearth of desi foodmarts and restaurants. Also, Hwy 6 is a pain... I have to take it whenever I'm driving to Hamilton from Waterloo, and I think you'll end up doing the same.
Mind if I ask why not Burlington itself? the city is prospering quite rapidly and was actually on my list of considerations for next year when I'm going to be moving out of Waterloo.
