called Shaikhupura in Punjab area??? and there’s supposedly a village named Char Chak???
a friend of mine wants to visit because that’s where his ancestors were from and he’s from India. So it would be very very appreciated because he’s been looking forward to it for a long long time.
P.S. mods please move it wherever you think it will get nuff posts cuz i really need to find this out.

naina i've googled, he has googled. but no luck
there's a site called mypind.com but even they don't have any info about the pinds in Pakistan, it's all the ones in India!!!

yea i know about Char Chak, your typical undeveloped/unorganized village. There's nothing special there but your standard machir, waghera :D. If he goes he can check out Hiran Meenar ;)

I've heard of it..name sounds very familiar. I'll ask abu and let you know. He knows all of Pakistan from the back of his head. Will let you know once I find out.

all i know is that it's in punjab and they often have international cricket matches over here...the cricket ground in sheikhupura is actually an international ground and they do play matches over there often...

Shiekupura is near Faisalabad. Its famous for its hockey players. Aaqib Javed, the bowler was also from Sheikupura.
