He always played small roles as a villian, and was in almost all the 80’s movies I have seen. He kind of looks like Rajni Kaanat / Wolf, so maybe this will help in recognizing him. Here is a pic from youtube

yeah TDW! :D I recognize him and agree with you, he was there in every single movie! :D
But I never knew his name. Wonder what happened to him. Its sad how supporting cast in India/Pakistan is so overlooked and sidelined. It's not as bad now but imagine the fate of this wolf guy. he took the hero's punches in every single movie and yet we dont know him and he's nowehere to be found.
Yeah, a lot of people recognize him as the "Generic bad guy", but no one knows his name. He probably made a lot of money by being in every movie.

well the pic you posted is of Rajnikant... so I dunno who you're talking about. I've watched my fair share of hindi flicks from the 80s.

I recall this guy used to be the side-kick villain type in every other movie.
One particular that I remember was this movie that we got special permission to watc because it was a kids movie with elephants. I think the name was 'Mein tera dushman' and starred Jackie Shroff as a forest officer working against poachers. It was nice and fun with the elephants. This guy was there in that movie too and his name was Dhani Ram in the role. For some reason i remember that :D

^^ aah that guy... yeah the sidekick bad guy in numerous movies... and I think his name was Mac in a few movies including the original Don.
I dunn think he looks anything like Rajnikaant... but you could've just said "Saambha" from Sholay... as in "Arey O Saambha! Kitna Inaam rakhi hai re sarkar hum pey" :)
