Its definitely very very relaxing and spiritual experience for both the giver and the receiver of Reiki. I don't have much first hand experience with Reiki specifically but I have been benefitting from those chakra and other mind power exercises for better focus, better health, self healing, personal charisma, aura-protection, mental peace, mind alarm clock :D and so many other things in my life.
Heck, now that you have reminded me I should be exercising them more and more.
