I strongly beleive in metaphysics as a scientific name of spirituality. I used to communicate with someone very close to me in heart but thousands of miles away in physical distance. We reached to a point that we could literally call each other and we felt the call instantly. It was simply crazy. One basic element to reach in this state is to have a conenction/link with the other person. This bond/link could be via blood relationship, strong friendship or love.
It's an amazing feeling to be in!

However, for a completely different question ... we can ask ... Do we truly ever create anything? A physicist will say 'no'.
How about a concept? Do we not create concepts? Do we not make decisions? Like matter a concept has polarity positive and negative. A concept can have weight which is the level of its objectivity.
How is creation Created?
God says "Be" and it is.
We cannot understand the Ways of God, but if we say "be" then we have said that 'be' upon a thought - a concept. We think and we create a thought, if we think of a universe we have created that universe in our minds. That universe occupies space, but that space is not located within the brain, rather it is perceived in the mind. If we think up a creature in that universe it thinks about its own nature with respect to that universe. It is as 'real' as the universe it resides in, because the substance involved in making up the universe is the same substance in making that life form.
The creation of us is 'solid' ... The Creator creates whereas we but make thoughts, the substance of which is 'lesser' than what domain we reside in.
How about a journey, stars are for guidance, a path which is sign posted. A forking is a decision, a hurdle is a distraction. Street lights are light pollution. The synthetic light drowns out the natural beauty of the heavens.

Every ayah of the Quran is a star and the collective night sky the beauty of the revealed Word. Propaganda is the light of magic that brings a haze over the stars.
Verily the straightest path upward is the most steep, and we are all bound upwards. Steepness is difficulty. Islam is the straight path .... so who said Islam would be easy?
The signs in the sky are for the universe within ..
We can create erroneous concepts and we can create lies ... such is the tweening of occult and metaphysics is when a 'lie is created'.

Metaphysics ... No not lies ... Occult however? May be true, but not based on truth or at least the mechanism is the lie even though the result may be true.
